Collaboration with Tal Laub-Richter and Hila Tal-Lazarus
Completed, 2008.
Expanding a 1970’s frame to accommodate a growing family, harnessing the assets of the solid masonry building, and infusing it with a fresh design that would serve as the back drop for the next chapter of both family and house.
This split-level home for a couple and their young children is located in northern Tel Aviv. The simple geometry of the existing structure, the light touch of the expansion, and the light-colored spaces create a neutral background against which lush furnishings provide different settings – ranging from formal to laid-back. The house features a 25 m long pool, full-height motorized sun-shades, and a series of exterior spaces accessible from both the ground floor and the basement.
