Imagined as a mid-sized night club to complement the mega-club on an adjacent lot, the Vox Populi set to balance the elegant and the illicit. The warm glow cast on visitors to the bar, the illuminated dynamic backdrop of the DJ, and a one directional mirror between the restrooms and the red velvet lounge, the series of spaces frame party goers in different and opposing ways, shifting focus across the course of the night and changing how people interact. Situated in an old industrial space, crowds entered at different elevations, creating opportunities to experience the space, and increased movement between areas of the club throughout the night.
