Completedn: 2024.
This 7,000 square foot Greenpoint multifamily is Pliskin Architecture’s (panyc) latest ground-up condominium project in North Brooklyn and is scheduled to start construction in the summer of 2020. The panyc team is working with an international developer to introduce six market-rate apartments geared toward first-time buyers who are looking to be part of the energetic Greenpoint community. With a range of apartment sizes, the project aims to have a creative diverse population in the building to complement the evolving nature of the neighborhood.
The building features a corbelled masonry façade, aiming to introduce a new interpretation of the quintessential NYC red-brick façades. The traditional façade material is contrasted with softer and sustainable accents, including vertical planks made of recycled rice husks, defining the building entrance and the private terrace on the 4th floor, and echoing our ongoing commitment to sustainable design practices.
The project will have five residential stories and will feature 6 mid-market and luxury units with one studio, three 1-bedrooms, one 2-bedroom, and one triplex 3-bedroom apartment. Each unit has access to private outdoor space, with the triplex has a distinctive stepped garden, connecting the lowest level to the main level. The project is situated close to the Greenpoint Waterfront and is set for completion in 2021.
