Completed, December 2016.
This gut-renovation project combined two 1-bedroom apartments in Midtown, Manhattan, to create an over-sized apartment with a uniquely large terrace with south-west exposures. Nestled slightly above the average Midtown housing stock, the apartment and terrace have distinct and uninterrupted views, which this renovation capitalizes on. Maximizing privacy in the bedrooms, while opening up the living room, dining room, and kitchen to the terrace and the views, allows the new apartment tow serve both as a retreat from the urban bustle and a celebration of it.
