Between 2017 and 2020, Pliskin Architecture (panyc) has been working to renovate, upgrade, and repurpose multiple spaces in an existing 12-story structure within the Manhattan West development site, located west of the Farley Post Office and above several active train tracks.

A key piece of the renovations was the relocation of the Manhattan West’s field offices to three floors in the building. This included a gut renovation of these floors, reworking mechanical systems, constructing new discrete spaces for the development and construction teams, additions of restrooms, pantries, and other facilities, and the panyc team worked closely with Manhattan West’s own contractors to fit out and complete the space using very limited resources, while delivering value to the ongoing operations on site.
